Elon Musk’s family just got bigger—again. Turns out, he and tech exec Shivon Zilis had another baby, making the boy their fourth kid together. That brings Musk’s total to 14. This news popped up not long after people started talking about him having a baby with author Ashley St. Clair.

Musk just confirmed he and Shivon Zilis had their fourth kid together. She’s a tech exec who works with him on some of his projects.
The couple already have twins, 3-year-old Strider and Azure, plus 1-year-old Arcadia. Now, they’ve got a new baby boy—Seldon Lycurgus.
The couple celebrated their son’s birth on social media
Zilis posted on X, saying that they both decided to share the news about their new baby, especially since it was Arcadia’s birthday. “Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much,” she wrote about little Seldon Lycurgus. Musk dropped a heart emoji in response.

Zilis celebrated her 1-year-old’s first birthday.
“Happy 1st birthday, darling Arcadia. Mommy loves you with all her heart,” she wrote.
The couple went through a lot for their babies
Musk and Zilis had their first kids together—twins Strider and Azure—through IVF back in 2021. Then came Arcadia, confirmed in June 2024.
When people started saying they were keeping things secret, Musk told Page Six, “All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret.’”
Shivon explained why she had kids with Musk
Zilis, who works in AI and has been part of Musk’s Neuralink, has talked before about why she decided to have kids with him. In Walter Isaacson’s 2023 biography Elon Musk, she said, “He really wants smart people to have kids, so he encouraged me to.”
She also added, “If the choice is between an anonymous sperm donor or doing it with the person you admire most in the world, for me that was a pretty f–king easy decision.”
Elon Musk’s family continues to grow
Musk’s family tree is seriously packed. Besides his kids with Zilis, he’s got a bunch from past relationships. He and his ex-wife Justine Wilson have twins, Vivian and Griffin, who are 20, plus triplets—Kai, Saxon, and Damian—who are 19.
Then there’s his three kids with Grimes: X Æ A-12, who’s 4, Exa Dark Sideræl, who’s 3, and Techno Mechanicus, who’s 2.
Ashley St. Clair recently filed a paternity petition against Musk
And now, author and influencer Ashley St. Clair is making headlines after filing a paternity petition, legally naming Musk as the father of her child. She’s also asking for sole custody.
Ashley St. Clair keeps insisting that Musk is the father of her baby
On Feb. 14, St. Clair took to X to share the news. “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote.
She said she’d kept it private to protect their child but felt forced to speak up since tabloids were going to spill the news, anyway.
She asks for privacy for their child
She also made it clear she didn’t want her child caught up in all the media chaos. “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment,” she said, asking the press to back off and respect their privacy.
Musk has not publicly commented on St. Clair’s claims
So far, Musk had nothing to say to St. Clair’s allegations.
